LogMeIn Hamachi

LogMeIn Hamachi is the famous application designed for establishing the connection between two or more computers in the Local Area Network. This little program may prove useful to anybody, regardless if they want to create the network based on the internal IP (in a business company, for example), or if they want the network to work over the Internet. LogMeIn Hamachi can be installed and run even on the computers protected with firewall. This is rather rare in the case of applications of this kind. LogMeIn Hamachi secures the established connection, and thanks to that the exchange of data between computers is safe. The participants of the network are protected by a cipher with a very complex algorithm, so even if the network is established via the Internet, no unauthorized users will be able to connect with the participants. When we create a network and assign individual users to it, there is a unique key generated simultaneously. Additionally, the administrator can block particular users. Therefore, LogMeIn Hamachi is an interesting alternative for all the classic applications based on the P2P network.The home version allows for creating the network for up to sixteen participants. However, we can decide to buy the Pro version, which allows us to create the network for unlimited number of participants. This software may be useful, for example, in the case when we need to create a school network for IT classes, or a local network for a housing estate, or for small and medium businesses – in other words, wherever we have several computers and the exchange of data between them is vital.
