iTunes is a very well-known application, which is probably the most familiar to all the people who use the mobile devices and products released by Apple. However, iTunes is a really interesting application that will prove useful also on personal computers. It is designed mainly for playing music and video files, but it also offers a built-in CD burner, so we have at hand all the tools that may be needed by an average music and movie lover. However, these are not the only functions presented by this application. iTunes is equipped also with very functional tools for conversion of the most popular media file formats, and which makes it possible for us to watch almost everything we want. Additionally, with the use of iTunes we can download files from the Internet. This application offers the access to a large database of music files which are available for us after a small fee. This way we can perfectly legally and with the respect to the copyrights download the music and create our own music library on the computer. Moreover, iTunes offers also the opportunity to listen to many Internet radio stations. Among the stations offered by this application are thematic stations, focused on the specific music genre, thanks to which we are presented with a wide range of very interesting music. We can decide on the most popular hits or try out some of the alternative sounds – it is up to us what we choose. Therefore, iTunes presents us with the opportunity to discover new artists, genres and streams.
