This application is very effective against all kinds of unnecessary files, such as temporary files, which appear on our hard disk whenever we open a website. With this application, we can also clean the system bin, the history of the last visited websites in the web browser, the history of the last opened documents (displayed in the menu Start), as well as the clipboard.CCleaner allows us also to clean the Search Assistant in Windows XP, and – what is more important – removes the backup copies of the memory status, which are usually created when the system crashes. CCleaner removes also such files as index.dat, TMP (temporary files), and all the LOG files.CCleaner is really effective when it comes to cleaning the system of all the unnecessary files. This application is worth any recommendation to those who work with Windows operating systems. Of course, this program is available for free. Finally, this is a very functional, yet extremely easy application – all the most important options are easily available, and the interface is very intuitive.
